About The Mill Inn + Café
The Mill at Dover-Foxcroft is a historic mill complex set along the banks of the Piscataquis River in the heart of Maine. Originally built in the 19th century and thoughtfully restored in 2015, the 60,000-square-foot mill has been reimagined as a vibrant community gathering place, home to residences, office spaces, The Mill Café, and our boutique inn.

The Mill Cafe
At the heart of the complex, The Mill Café is a welcoming gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Our café features fresh, chef-driven menus, house-baked pastries, and locally roasted coffee — all served in a bright, inviting space that celebrates the Mill’s historic character.
Throughout the week, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and specialty offerings made with care and seasonal ingredients. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the café transforms into an intimate dining experience, where our chef showcases creative dishes and thoughtfully crafted menus.
The Mill Café also serves as a beautiful setting for private celebrations and gatherings, from weddings and rehearsal dinners to birthdays, showers, reunions, and corporate events.
